Ice Palace opens in Delano, MN | As we move into the new year, many of us are looking for something to get us out of our homes while spending time with our families. A short drive to Delano, MN will bring you to The Ice Palace at Fountain Hill Winery and offers stunning ice formations, food, beverages, and entertainment.
The first Ice Palace was created in Idaho by Jim Youngstrom and his family. After five years of success, they decided to expand. Jim’s son and Ice Palace CEO Brigham Youngstrom thought Minnesota would be the perfect place for a new location because of our winters and love of the outdoors. After connecting with Juston Dooly, owner of Fountain Hill Winery, they began to build. Youngstrom’s father designed the patented internal structures and a team of 30 full time employees worked??? over four weeks to complete the palace.
