Alula environmental sensor package?

Do you worry about pipes freezing, a fire starting, or other environmental hazard occurring while you are traveling or away from home? WH Security is now offering the Alula environmental package as a quick and easy way to protect your home.

Environmental sensors are easy to add to your security system and help protect your home or business from costly damage. We offer low temp, carbon monoxide, smoke, and water sensors. Water sensors can be added to basement mechanical rooms near the water heater to let you know when you have a leak. A low temperature sensor alerts you so you can make sure your home’s temperature doesn’t get low enough to cause pipes to freeze.

Minnesotan hidden gems

Looking for a day trip this summer? Check out these hidden gems in Minnesota:

Lost 40 Scientific and Natural Area

Due to a mapping error in 1882, loggers thought the Lost 40 was part of Coddington Lake in Northome, MN. They left 144 acres of untouched forest including 32 acres of old-growth white pine – red pine forest and 20 acres of spruce fir forest. Some of the trees stand over 120 feet tall and are over 300-400 years old. Get visitor information on the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources website.

Dirftless Area

This unique geologic area is in southeast Minnesota, southwest Wisconsin, and a small section of Iowa and Illinois and covers around 20,000 square miles. It is “driftless” because there was no glacial drift, rocks, or other debris left behind during the glacial migration of the last ice age. Explore caves, climb bluffs, paddle the backwaters of the Mississippi River and more. Learn more about this unique area from Driftless Area Magazine.

Quarry Park and Nature Preserve

Quarry Park and Nature Preserve is located just outside of St. Cloud in Waite Park, MN. It is composed of a 684-acre park that was the site of 20 former granite mining quarries. Enjoy granite reflecting pools, swimming quarries, scientific and natural areas, fishing, and many outdoor activities. See all the activities on the Explore Minnesota website.

Minneopa State Park

Drive through a 325-acre bison range in Minnesota's third oldest state park to see the approximately 30-40 bison. You will also find waterfalls, hiking, wildflowers, and camping. Visit the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources website to plan your trip.
